Clinical Supervision for Clinicians and Associates
A reflective, supportive supervision space for clinicians developing confidence, clarity, and sustainability.
Meet Dr. Briana Marshall, PHD, LMFT
I’m Dr. Briana Marshall, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, PhD, and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I have extensive experience as a clinician, educator, researcher, and supervisor, working across community mental health, private practice, academic settings, and supervision roles.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and developmentally attuned. I support associate clinicians in strengthening clinical confidence, ethical decision-making, and professional identity—while attending closely to sustainability, cultural context, and the emotional impact of clinical work.
I believe supervision should be a space where you feel supported and appropriately challenged, grounded in theory while remaining practical and human.

My Supervision Philosophy
My supervision style is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in systemic thinking. I view supervision as a collaborative process that supports both clinical skill development and the therapist’s internal experience of the work.
In our supervision, we will attend to:
Case conceptualization and intervention planning
Ethical decision-making and professional standards
Countertransference, emotional process, and self-of-the-therapist work
Clinical confidence, boundaries, and sustainability
Development of your own therapeutic voice
Supervision is not about having all the answers—it’s about learning how to think clinically with clarity and confidence.

An Associate LMFT seeking individual supervision
A clinician working with trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, or relational concerns
A clinician seeking culturally responsive and affirming supervision
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your clinical voice
Wanting supervision that balances support, accountability, and growth
I intentionally keep my supervision caseload small to ensure quality, presence, and consistency.
Getting Started:
I offer a brief consultation to determine fit, answer questions, and clarify supervision needs. This conversation allows us both to assess whether my supervision style aligns with your goals and expectations.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll establish a clear supervision agreement, expectations, and structure to support your development.
I Would Love To Work Alongside You
